294 WOVEN STRAW BONNET, LATE 1840s. Brown straw with silk bows in two shades of brown, silk ribbon ties, brown velvet brim lining, hat lined in glazed cotton. Lining unstitched, ribbon ties have scattered small spots, one piece of straw loose, overall excellent. $115.00

Ankle length black wool wide rib knit with flat yoke, belt having circle buckle, large mother of pearl buttons, black fox collar, label "Valentino Boutique". Bust 32, waist 30, sleeve 23, length 66. Sleeveless dress of metallic gold lace in Deco ovals with serpentine floral on skirt, red, blue and green beading, pearl and jewel studs, scalloped hem tabbed in back with triangular lace inserts. Matching cape of lace over persimmon velvet, the ruched collar having padded edge and gold lame trim, lame hem. Bust 37, length 46. Chiffon under- dress replaced straps, bodice lining, spots. Minor mends, breaks, bead loss, very good. $1,955.00
301 FRENCH DECO OMBREED VOIDED VELVET and GOLD EVENING CAPE. Copper velvet with padded and channeled high collar, the channels stitched in gold thread, sides and back in a geometric pattern ombreed from dusty pink to black cut to metallic gold, having inverted pleats running from shoulder and back of neck to waist, velvet lining, label "Louis & Cie 39, Avenue de Friedland, 39, Modeles Deposes Paris". Length 42. Slight wear inside collar and shoulders, few pulled threads, excellent. $862.50
