Fortuny Delphos Gown with Original Box, c. 1920. Champagne pleated silk with separate gold stenciled empire waistband, armholes and side seams decorated to hem with white, blue and yellow Murano glass beads. Left shoulder closure. Selvedge stamped "Fabrique en Italie Fortuny Depose Made in Italy". Length 56. Several stains, good. Cylindrical cardboard box, lid printed inside and out "Mariano Fortuny Venise 509 Madison Avenue New York, N.Y." Box stained, taped, holes. $6,900.
