HATTIE CARNEGIE EVENING GOWN with METALLIC TRIM, 1940's. Bias cut strapless cream satin, the bodice gathered by a narrow metallic embroidered band with green and pink silk floral creating a halter, with sheer trianglar insert between breasts, back opening at waist holding a wide satin loop with matching embroidery draped over bodice top and worn over shoulders or dropping to below the knee. Label "Hattie Carnegie Little Salon". Bust 33, waist 24, length 52 from bodice top. Excellent. $862.50.
