WATTEAU TRAINED SILK and LACE PEIGNOIR, c. 1905. Palest lavender with angled bands of tucked silk and re-embroidered lace, having shawl collar and front with lace ruffle, the open sleeve ruffled on the underside, lower skirt with ruffled horizontal bands, long train from point in the split back collar, silk lining, hook & eye closures. B-36, front L-60, back L-79. (1-inch tear to silk at waist height in folds of train, minor mends to pieced seams needed) good. $900.
